Taratour is an amazing Lebanese tahini sauce. It’s always included when you order a “chicken kabob wrap”, however, I love it so much, I can dip bread in it or eat it off a spoon and be just as happy.
Usually I make it only with lemon juice, but I only had a little lemon and a lot of lime. The combo turned out beautifully. In the future, I will measure out the lemon only version.

1/2 cup tahini * +2 1/2 tbsp-4 1/2 tbsp, to taste
4 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
9 tbsp water
2 cloves crushed garlic
* I usually use an untoasted tahini; however, joyva (which is made with toasted sesame seeds) is all that is available at my local Lunardi’s market, so this time, I made it using that brand. Next time I will make this recipe with untoasted tahini, like Mid East brand, and let you know if there are any changes. ☺️
