Macadamia Nut Cream (replacement for American sour cream)

11/2 cup raw macadamia nuts, soaked 4-6 hrs.

7 tbsp lemon

3/4 tsp salt

1 1/3 cup water
1. Put macadamia nuts and water in vitamix, blend thouroughly til smooth.

2. Add lemon and salt and blend.

3. Refrigerate til ready to use and enjoy!

NOTE: Most people make cashew cream, but I am allergic to them, so i’ve made macadamia cream. Very tasty 🙂

Please be advised, this is a replacement for american sour cream, not liquid cream. It is thick like sour cream.

This was sooooo good! Smooth texture and the right sour taste for the palate. Thank you for introducing our family to a healthy version of sour cream.😀
