1 large haas avocado
2 tsp lime juice (make sure you squeeze it yourself)
2 tbsp minced yellow onion (this will make a very mild guac, if it’s not quite bold enough, try another tbsp)
1-1 1/2 chopped, deseeded and deveined serrano pepper(s) ( if you like things kind of spicy, try 1 1/2; if you’re extemely spicy, leave in some of the veins and seeds; try it deseeded first!)
1 chopped, deseeded vine ripened tomato
1/4 tsp pink hemalayan sea salt, more to taste
2 tbsp chopped cilantro (optional)
1. Smash avocado a little into your serving bowl.
2. This is the most important step! Add lime juice to avocado before adding other ingredients! I don’t know why, because I’m not a chef or a scientist or anything, but if you add thr lime juice after the other ingredients, it takes away some of the depth and it tastes more one note.
3. Addthe salt n mix a little.
4. Add remaining ingredients, start with the lowest amount of onion and serrano, taste test, and add more to taste.
